We're so grateful to announce support from our incredible New York State representatives to fund needed improvements to the garden: Assembly Member Charles D. Fall has supported phase 1 of the restoration with a generous $1 million dollar allocation, and Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton unveiled an additional $500k in state capital support. Thank you to both of these visionary leaders! Also, a big thanks to SI Borough President President Vito J. Fossella, DCLA Commissioner Laurie Cumbo, NYC Council Member Kamillah Hanks, and former State Senator Diane J. Savino for celebrating this investment in our community’s treasure with us.
