Street harassment is a form of violence with roots in different and intersecting forms of oppression. It hurts people and communities by causing fear, anxiety, distrust, and by limiting their mobility. When people feel unsafe in public spaces, they are less likely to spend time outside or join group activities. We all have a role to play in preventing and responding to street harassment. On September 14th, Pride Center Staten Island and Illuminart Productions, and St.George Theatre came together to bring you an unforgettable Drag Coronation! 👑 We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the magnificent kings and queens who graced the stage namely Barry McCockiner and Shantel De Cristal! A huge thank you to the iconic St. George Theatre for providing the perfect setting to showcase these phenomenal talents. Your support means the world to us!
