We held our first job fair in partnership with the Pro Deo Youth Center. Teenagers from the Pro Deo community had the invaluable opportunity to interview with several local businesses on the spot. We were thrilled to collaborate with a dedicated teacher from KCIA to present brand-new bicycles to incoming 8th graders and participants in our mentorship initiative. For many of these students, who happen to be refugees and are new to the United States, this marks their very first experience with owning a bike. Witnessing the sheer joy and wonderment reflected in the beaming faces of these children was an absolute delight for our volunteers.

The NorthPoint Foundation is proud to support the budding athletes of Kansas City International Academy (KCIA) through our recent donation of specialty track shoes for their track team. Witnessing the sheer excitement and joy among the students as they received their new spike shoes was truly heartwarming.   Our partnership with KCIA reflects our commitment to supporting underserved communities and providing opportunities for youth to excel academically and athletically. By supplying specialty track shoes to the school's track team, we aim to remove barriers and empower students to pursue their athletic passions confidently. Last week, our Kansas City Office was delighted to host UMKC Business Students, offering them a valuable opportunity to engage with our diverse departments, including Accounting, Human Resources, Capital, and Marketing.
