Attentive Energy Two has been selected to Deliver Offshore Wind Power to New Jersey! We thank Governor Murphy for his leadership in steering New Jersey’s mission of advancing renewable energy and the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities for choosing us as their trusted partner to meet our common climate and economic goals. This project, a joint venture of TotalEnergies and Corio Generation, will bring 1.34GW of clean renewable energy into the New Jersey grid, highlighting our commitment to the State’s mission of achieving a 100% clean energy economy by 2035. #AE2 is also expected to support the State’s emission reduction efforts by removing 1.3 million tons of carbon annually, the equivalent of 10% of cars from New Jersey roads. Throughout project development, Attentive Energy Two commits to building support, incorporating feedback, and responding to the needs of our neighbors and communities statewide. 📢 Inaugural New Jersey Manufacturing Assessment and Gap Analysis  The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NJMEP), in partnership with Attentive Energy Two and MRV Group, has conducted an analysis of New Jersey's manufacturing sector and its potential to support the growing offshore wind industry.   This deep dive into the manufacturing capabilities of local companies uncovered both the current strengths in terms of capabilities as well as the gaps hindering small and diverse businesses from seizing future contracting opportunities in the offshore wind market. This week our team had the unique opportunity to participate in NYC Department of Education's Wind Immersion Week. We hosted students from Queens Technical High School at LaGuardia Community College where we engaged with students about the power of offshore wind, the career opportunities it will bring, and showed them training modules using VINCI VR virtual reality technology. It's always great to connect with students who will become future leaders and a workforce that will continue to bring clean energy to the grid. #AE #OffshoreWind #CleanEnergy #VirtualReality

Last week, our #AE2 team had a great time at the 2024 New Jersey Association of Counties Annual Conference where we moderated a panel focusing on opportunities for #NJ communities in the #offshorewind industry, hosted a table with information about our project, had meaningful conversations with county officials from across the state, and sponsored the vocation tech cook-off which showcased the talents of NJ’s votech students! The #AE2 team is hard at work on the ground across New Jersey, actively sharing insights and information and engaging in meaningful conversations about clean energy in the Garden State. Yesterday, our Managing Director, Damian Bednarz, participated in a panel discussion, Offshore Wind Economy: Transition and Deployment, at Montclair State University’s Fifth Clean and Sustainable Energy Summit. In addition, our Community Engagement Manager, Favio Germán, moderated a panel focusing on pathways of opportunity for communities in New Jersey’s offshore wind industry at the 2024 New Jersey Association of Counties Annual Conference. Thank you to both Montclair State University and NJAC for your leadership on clean energy. It's great to engage with local #NJ communities and discuss the future of clean energy and offshore wind in this state!

Join us at the 2024 New Jersey Association of Counties Annual Conference – our Community Engagement Manager, Favio Germán, will be moderating a panel tomorrow focusing on pathways of opportunity for communities in New Jersey’s offshore wind industry, while highlighting the importance of proactive community engagement, fostering long-term partnerships, and building community capacity and economic development. The panel will offer a statewide perspective on how to ensure offshore wind is developed in a holistic, broad-based, and responsible manner by featuring key community leaders and public officials.
