Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC), an affiliate of The Mount Sinai Hospital and the Icahn School of Medicine, is a 470+ bed healthcare facility and teaching institution serving borough residents as a leader in the areas of acute, medical and surgical care, including emergency care, surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, gastroenterology, cardiology, pediatrics, podiatry, endocrinology, urology, oncology, orthopedics, neonatal intensive care and maternal health. Congratulations to senior administration Executive Assistant Nancy Tricorico. Nancy was honored last week by Hillel of Staten Island at their Hillel Kavod Circle Reception. Nancy was honored for her longtime support and dedication to Hillel and its chapter at Wagner College and the College of Staten Island. Nancy was honored along with Council Member David Carr and the Honorable Philip Straniere. The reception was held at the JCC of Staten Island.

The television was purchased from funds raised from raffle sales and events hosted by the Auxiliary. April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month As Staten Island’s only Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Center of Excellence, Richmond University Medical Center cares for adults, adolescents and children from across the borough who are victims of sexual assault. Watch a recent episode of RUMC Vital Signs to learn how our team of specially trained forensic nurses care for patients who come for treatment in the hospital’s Emergency Department.
